Dr Sharbani Banerjee

Dr. Sharbani Banerjee Mukherjee is an Associate Professor at the Postgraduate Department of English at T.D.B.College, Raniganj under Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal, India.She has written her PhD thesis on Lawrence Durrell’s The Alexandria Quartet. She has published a number of articles in journals of national repute. She has delivered lectures, Webinars and presented papers at National and International seminars. Her areas of interest include American literature, Post-Fifties British literature, Postcolonial Studies and Gender Studies.

She is a co-editor of The American Novel from Hawthorne to Heller: Cultural Contexts and Critical Perspectives, Macmillan Education, 2019. She has worked as UGC Visiting Fellow of English of Post Graduate Courses at Department of English, Sambalpur University since 2016. She is a peer of peer-Reviewed Online Multi-Disciplinary Journal on English Studies titled post Scriptum.

Dr. Deepshikha Routray

Deepshikha Routray, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of English at S.C.S. (Autonomous) College, Puri, Odisha, India. She earned her PhD from Berhampur University and has an extensive academic profile, having presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. Her research interests span Trauma Literature, Cognitive Psychology, and Indian Classical Literature.

She has published research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and has also served as a reviewer for articles in Scopus-indexed and other esteemed journals. She edited the book ‘Performing the Nation: Memory and Desire in Contemporary Literature’ in 2019 and ‘Nature and Humanity’ in 2024. In 2025, she published a book titled ‘Narrating the Unseen Trauma’.

An avid researcher, she has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. She also serves as the Associate Editor of Literary Oracle, a peer-reviewed journal of international repute, and is a member of the Board of Studies at various educational institutions. She is also the Regional Secretary of Central Odisha Executive Council of EFSLE, India.
